What Is Windows 10 LTSC?
LTSC stands for Long Term Servicing Channel. This is a simplified enterprise operating system based on a specific version of Windows 10. Windows 10 LTSC doesn't come pre-installed with apps such as Microsoft Edge, Cortana Assistant, and News. With the LTSC servicing model, you can receive delayed feature updates and receive monthly device quality updates only.
Should I upgrade to Windows 10 LTSC?
The lack of extra features and apps means more disk space and system resources, which (in theory) makes your PC run better. It also frees you from the glitches of Windows Feature Updates. But if you want Windows 10 Enterprise with Windows Ink, camera, Microsoft Edge, and more, Windows 10 LTSC isn't for you.
How to Download & Install Windows 10 LTSC?
- Go to Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC download page.
- Select your preferred language. ISO - Enterprise LTSC Downloads are in a dedicated section. Then select 32-bit or 64-bit to download, depending on your operating system.
- Once the download is complete, use the ISO file to create a bootable USB installer and use it to install Windows 10 LTSC.
